MBI was founded by siblings, Morgan and Andrew Boukather, who from an early age learned about 'MailBox Income’ generated from real estate investments and the freedom passive income can provide. From their father and a number of mentors, they witnessed how sticking to strong and proven criteria, creating a strategy to optimize operations, and practicing patience to hold investments through even challenging market cycles can create substantial wealth over the long term. Through building a personal portfolio together, they first-hand experienced additional income streams, tax benefits that impacted their total taxable income, and efficiencies created by their complimentary skillsets. Morgan and Andrew formed MBI Equity Partners to offer others the benefits of multifamily real estate investing at scale.

Andrew leads acquisitions and capital markets at MBI. He most recently held a Vice President of Multifamily Investments position at CBRE, the world’s largest commercial real estate firm. Focused on the Orange County and greater LA real estate markets, he has personally transacted on $275M+ worth of apartment real estate, which contributed to his team’s milestone of $1B+ in the last 6 years. Andrew graduated from University of Southern California with his Masters in Real Estate Development and from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo with a Bachelors in Agricultural Business.

Morgan overseas all operations, finance, and infrastructure responsibilities at MBI. She most recently served as the Chief of Staff at one of the largest diabetes focused non-profits in the world. There, she managed the organization across all divisions and defined the infrastructure and team required for it to pivot and re-scale. Morgan began her career in New York City at Ipsos Strategy 3, a for-profit consulting firm named by Forbes as one of the World’s Best Management Consulting firms. She focused on helping Fortune 500 companies with market entry, growth, and innovation in over 10 international markets. Morgan graduated from Stanford with her Masters in Communication and Bachelors in Human Biology, and played division I indoor and sand volleyball during her time there.
